So, tomorrow is the opening day for US applications 🇺🇸. We wanted to let you know on why it’s so important to apply Early, and how it’ll improve your chances & amount of scholarships!

Why should I apply early? 🤔

• Increase your chances of acceptance ✅. Applying early decision or early action can give you a significant boost in your chances of getting accepted to a top college. This is because colleges have more space available in the early rounds of admissions, and they are more likely to admit students who they know are genuinely interested in attending their school.

• Get more scholarship money 💳. Some colleges offer early decision or early action applicants a larger scholarship award than they would offer to regular decision applicants. This is because colleges want to attract the best and brightest students, and they know that early decision and early action applicants are more likely to be high achievers.

How much scholarship does the US offer? 💰

The US is one of the most generous countries in terms of scholarship funding for international students. These include academic, merit-based, need-based & many more.

However, it is imperative to be in the earlier pools of applicants, when the funds are still high in amount.

Does Qalam offer US counseling? ✏

What about the booking process? 📆

We’ve made the process, swift, seamless & secure. With the help of top tier functionality, all you have to do is review the counselor profiles for the best fit!

After that, you can click “Book a Slot” and choose according to you availability. And that’s it. You’re done.

How do meetings work? 🤝

Once you book the slot, you’re sent an email with detailed instructions on how to proceed. These instructions are available to all students here.

The counselor will send you details on where to meet (Zoom, Google Meets, etc.) and will approve your meeting. You are also free to chat with them in your inbox to tell them anything particular about your profile!

What about the deadlines? 📝

With the opening of the applications on the 1st of August, you are able to send your applications in whenever you’d like. However, it is strongly recommended to do so as early as possible for a quicker & better offer!

Early deadlines can vary from November 1st - November 15th depending on your choice of university.
