There are more scholarships available early in the year ✅. Many universities have deadlines in the fall (Early Decision), so it's important to start your research early.
The competition is less fierce early in the year. Scholarship committees often receive a flood of applications in the spring (Regular Decision), so your chances of winning are better if you apply early.
You'll have more time to complete your applications. Scholarship applications can be time-consuming to fill out. By starting early, you'll have plenty of time to gather all of your materials and proofread your application.

How much scholarship does the US offer? 💰
The US is one of the most generous countries in terms of scholarship funding for international students. These include academic, merit-based, need-based & even full-ride, which covers tuition, expenses & air fare ✈.

However, Regular Decision (coming Spring, January onward) students can be at a disadvantage when applying to particular universities as they give a major chunk of the funding out during the early cycle (this Fall).
